The Challenge
How the challenge works
From 1st May, your challenge is to walk 100km. Connect to your Strava or Fitbit account and track how close you are to your goal. 100km is between 128,000 - 143,000 steps.
It can be done in one day, one week, or across the whole month - make it suit you.
By taking part, you're also committing to fundraise to support the tens of thousands of people who are diagnosed with cancer in Yorkshire each year.
Ideas to reach 100km
- Ask friends or family if they'd like company while they walk their dog (or offer to walk it for them!)
- Explore Yorkshire - pick some longer walks in nature like the Lumb Hole Falls Walk (17km), or the Yorkshire Three Peaks (38km).
- Organise some active catch ups with friends and walk together.
- If the weather isn't working for you, find a treadmill or take the stairs to get those kilometres ticked off.
